Hereis the last flight of this itinerary in Asia, with a return to Europe with a detour via Paris for professional reasons. I will not report the last night at the Sheraton CDG nor my last flight to London with an arch-referred route on TravelGuys.
As a reminder, here is the itinerary followed:
Boarding
When I arrived at the lounge, I was given a time to board the limousine, in this case 12:05 pm, or H-25.
It is thus a few minutes before this hour that I go to the limousine boarding of the lounge, where two other passengers will join mefor the transfer towards the aircraft.
This time, it is a Mercedes V-Class that will take us to the aircraft, after a superb tour of the Zurich tarmac.
Cabin and welcome
I found the cabin of the Airbus A220 that I love so much: elegant, spacious, it is one of my favorite medium-haul cabins.
In addition, the 2-3 layout allows for solos in Business Class.
The welcome is warmand I take my seat, 03A, near the window.
The purser will take the time to discuss my trip to Singapore with me, which is very nice.
The flight will leave the gate about 20 minutes late.
Service and catering
Le service commence quelques minutes après l’extinction des signaux de ceinture de sécurité.
Alight lunch tray is served. I’ll skip the noodles, but the cheese will be very good and so will the amarretti-based tiramisu.
I will accompany this with a Duval Leroy Champagne, which will be the object of constant refills.
Arrival and disembarkation
We arrived at Paris Charles-de-Gaulle about 30 minutes behind schedule. The final approach will offer absolutely extraordinary views of Paris.
We will be parked at the 2D terminal andwill disembark quickly, in the “zoo” that is the 2BD terminal in the middle of summer. I will be on my way to the Sheraton Paris Charles-de-Gaullein a few minutes.
Bottom line
A good flight from Zurich, which concludes a very good experience in First on Swiss. To be repeated with one of their duo promos on occasion.
