Today’s itinerary

Boarding

As I leave the lounge 20 minutes before departure and a boarding announcement has already been made, I notice that my flight isalready in Last Call. I hear my name called on the microphone and speed up the pace towards the door.

The staff is waiting for me and after passing the brief security check, I board directly by the J gangway, the only one left connected to the plane.

Cabin and welcome

I am greeted at the door and accompanied to my seat, the 11K, by one of the Singapore Girls. She’ll put my jacket in the coatroom for the flight.

The seat, ultra comfortable, is the same as the one for the outward journey, which you can discover on the ad hoc report.

Shortly after my installation, we will start the pushback about ten minutes ahead of schedule.

Service and catering

The service starts just after the seatbelt sign is turned off.

The latter starts at the back of the Business cabin, which implies that I will be served last, being seated in the first row…

A choice of beef or vegetarian sandwiches is offered. I’ll have a beef sandwich which will be pretty good but a little stale with a Diet Coke.

A refill will be offered, and I will request an espresso which will be brought promptly.

But quickly, the descent begins and we land in Singapore Changi.

Arrival and disembarkation

We arrive at the gate on time, and disembark at Changi terminal 3.

Immigration will be very fast and I will be landside quickly. This time, I will use the subway and not a cab, which will take me 40 minutes to reach the hotel.

Bottom line

A good flight, but with a basic service and hurried cabin crew.
