Today’s itinerary

Boarding

I leave the lounge 5 minutes after boarding begins. The door is quite close and I take the elevator because there is no down escalator.

When I arrive at the gate, it’s a real zoo! No boarding line is materialized and I try to make my way to the automatic boarding gates… Which stop working in front of me because of the saturation of the jetway!

Then, I wait in the non-air-conditioned jetway while the temperature outside is more than 30 degrees… With my jacket, it’s hot as hell!

Cabin and welcome

I board the plane to find the standard NEK seat of the LH Group, thin and uncomfortable. The bulkhead pitch is a little betterand the adjoining seat will remain free.

Shortly before departure and once all the passengers are on board,a refreshing wipe and a small bottle of water is distributed to us.

The interactions are a bit cold but very professional.

Service and catering

Service begins approximately 5 minutes after takeoff.

IMG_5415

Given the duration of the flight, an adapted service is offered in Business class. In this case, a choice of chicken or cheese sandwichis offered.

IMG_5416

The cheese sandwich with old-fashioned mustard and candied pear will be excellent, I will drizzle it with a very refreshing sparkling water with ice and lemon.

Before landing, I will drink a glass of Duval-Leroy. But a few seconds later, the chime announces the start of the descent and I have to finish my drink quickly!

Arrival and disembarkation

We arrive at the gate 5 minutes ahead of schedule. No particular welcome at the disembarkation.

Bottom line

A short but solid flight, with an attentive service.
