Another new adventure on TravelGuys! Adventure that takes me this time to Asia, for the first time since more than two years of pandemic!

Genesis of the itinerary

In January 2022, I take advantage of a nice promotion for the Business and First of the LH Group companies.

Having to complete my Star Gold status on SAS before the end of October, I decide to book a round trip in First from London, with one way on Swiss, to try this First, which I hear great things about even though it only brings back 200% of the distance covered at SAS Eurobonus, and the return in First on Lufthansa for maximize mileage and take advantage of the First Class Lounges and Terminals in Munich and Frankfurt.

But this was without counting 2 cancellations:

• A first cancellation related to the temporary suppression of the First on Lufthansa to Singapore obliges me to rebook on the same dates on Swiss;
• A second cancellation related to the reduction of Swiss frequencies to Singapore forcing me to extend my stay by one day to fit the new flight schedule.

As for hotels,t his itinerary will allow me to complete my Bonvoy Ambassador qualification for 2023, with various group properties in both Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
