After a few minutes of patience following our first flight, it was time to board our second flight of the day to Boston.
Boarding
Boarding began a few seconds before the scheduled boarding time with ConciergeKey passengers, then with Group 1 passengers, and we were amongst the first on board. The welcome at the gate was charming.
Cabin and welcome
The welcome was cordial, and we entered this Domestic First cabin configured as 1-2. No welcome drink was offered during boarding, and we left on time.
Our luggage, which my wife kept an eye on through the window, was well loaded on board.
Service and catering
Service began a few minutes after the seat belt sign turned off.
I ordered a Jack Daniels on the rocks, which will be brought to me after 15 minutes or so, and after passing through the snack basket.
Arrival and disembarkation
We arrived in Boston twenty minutes ahead of schedule. And we were home 15 minutes later.
Bottom line
A well-performed regional flight, but it’s a real shame not to offer a hot meal on such a long flight.
