After a solid half-hour at the Flagship First lounge, we proceeded to the gate a few minutes before the scheduled boarding time.
Boarding
Boarding began on schedule with the American Airlines Key Concierge passenger call, then Group 1 passengers were invited to board, and my wife and I made our way to the jetbrige.
We were amongst the first passengers on board.
Cabin and welcome
The welcome is courteous, and we entered the classic American Airlines Domestic First medium-haul cabin, organized in a 2-2 layout and equipped with the airline’s new seats.
Just after we settled in, the cabin attendant offered us a welcome drink, a Full Bar, and I choose a Diet Coke, which was promptly served.
Boarding ended quickly, and we left our parking spot about 5 minutes before our scheduled departure time.
Orders were taken during our taxi time considering the short duration of our flight.
For the first time in a long time, I noticed that the First cabin was 50% full and the Economy cabin barely 15%.
Service and catering
Service began 5 minutes after reaching cruising altitude.
The Jack Daniels ordered before departure arrived promptly, unfortunately without a snack.
The flight ended without a hitch
Arrival and disembarkation
We arrived at the gate 10 minutes ahead of schedule and were among the first to disembark in the terminal.
Perfect, since we only had a 31-minute connection in Indianapolis, which was a little short for us to get through with our luggage.
Bottom line
An uneventful flight, with very good service, no doubt due to the low number of passengers on this flight.

Très bien
Un vol sans histoire, avec un très bon service, sans doute dû à la faible affluence pour ce vol.
