We left the Admirals Club loungea few minutes before the theoretical boarding time of our flight to Chicago.
Boarding
When we arrived at the gate, boarding has not yet begun, but started perfectly on time. ConciergeKey members are called, followed by Group 1, of which we are a part.
The boarding agent greets us with a smile, and we’re among the first on board.
Cabin and welcome
The captain and purser greeted us with a smile, and we entered the 16-seat cabin in Domestic First 2-2 configuration.
These are the new, very comfortableFirst American seats.
During boarding, a welcome drink of your choice was offered. I asked for a milk coffee, which was brought to me with a smile.
We leftl the gate on time, but taxi was quite long.
Service and catering
Service began about fifteen minutes after takeoff. I chose a coffee with Bailey’s, which was served promptly, accompanied by pistachios and small cookies, which were excellent.
Refill offers were permanent and I took advantage of them.
Arrival and disembarkation
We arrived only a few minutes behind schedule and disembarked among the first, with a pleasant greeting from the purser.
Before collecting our baggage, we stopped at the American Airlines Flagship Lounge for a light lunch, then headed for the city.
