The check-in agent had told me that the flight would be 5 minutes late, so I went to gate A17, from where my flight to Zurich was departing that day, shortly after the theoretical boarding time.
As a reminder, here is the itinerary followed:
Boarding
When I arrive at the gate, boarding has not yet begun. After about ten minutes, the priority boarding, from zones 1 and 2, begins.
The latter is strictly respected, several passengers are turned away to boarding area 3 to 5.
We will wait another half-dozen minutes in the jetway before we can enter the aircraft.
Cabin and welcome
The welcome is cordial without being hyper warm, and I quickly go to my seat 02A.
It is an Airbus NEO with rather recent cabins thus. The seats are very thin and therefore quite uncomfortable. But the pitch is good.
Before departure, the charming Business flight attendant will distribute a refreshing wipe and a bottle of still water.
Service and catering
The service started about 20 minutes after take-off.
It starts with the beverage service, and I would ask for a glass of champagne (Duval Leroy) to a flight attendant visibly beginner since she will entrust the task to the very professional purser who will serve me this glass and a glass of sparkling water.
I would then have the breakfast meal tray which has a hot item, an asparagus omelet served with fried potatoes.
The Swiss cheeses served with the meal were perfectly matured and excellent, as was the Bircher muesli.
Refills of champagne will be offered throughout the flight.
Arrival and disembarkation
Despite being 30 minutes late at the start, we arrived at the gate only a few minutes late.
Nevertheless, we will have a trainee in the jetway who will take more than 5 minutes to set it up.
Bottom line
A pleasant flight, thanks to the maître de cabine and one of the flight attendants. The other should stop the job.

Un vol agréable, grâce au maître de cabine et à l’une des hôtesses. L’autre devrait arrêter le métier.
