Today’s itinerary

Boarding

Contrary to the last time, the boarding is this time well organized with a line by zone. We will wait in the line of zone 1, which will be well boarded in priority to all the others.

We are called by name and invited to embark.

We will wait a few minutes in the jetway before we can enter the aircraft.

Cabin and welcome

The welcome at the door is rather ordinary, and we are invited to make our way to our seats, 1D and F, located in the first row of the cabin, in the middle of two aisles of this 787-9.

Aeromexico chose the Super Diamond seat, in my opinion the best Reverse Herringbone on the market.

You will find the complete review in my previous report between Madrid and Mexico.

This time, no welcome drinkwill be distributed.

Service and catering

The service starts a few minutes after the seat-belt signs have been switched off.

And what a service… A simple soft drink or beer service, with a basket of low quality snacks. And without any soul, without any complementary proposal. Lame.

Arrival and disembarkation

We arrive about 20 minutes behind schedule. The disembarkation will be laborious and we will then wait nearly 20 minutes at the baggage claim.

Bottom line

A quality hard product, but a soft product really too basic.
