Early in the morning, we choose to visit the archaeological zone of Teotihucan, located at 1h30 by carof the center of Mexico City.
The area is accessible by Uber from downtown, and that’s the mode of transportation we’ll choose (and that I recommend). It will cost you about 800 pesos round trip.
The archaeological area itself is beautiful, but fills up quickly.
Arrive before 9am to have the site all to yourself.
Tamayo Museum
Clearly the disappointment of our stay. The museum is quite comprehensive on Tamayo’s works but is it a true museum of contemporary art? I don’t think so.
We will end the day with a drink at the newly opened Ritz-Carlton bar on the Paseo de la Reforma.
