So many adventures! This trip was a hell to organize. Between the UK restrictions, Thailand restrictions… We had to activate our plan B, which was Mexico. Everything was already booked just in case… And fortunately!

Thailand blocked Test&Go a month and a half before our departure, then reactivated it with a test at D5… In short, we preferred to fall back on Mexico which offered us an experience without constraints!
Transportation
For the flights, we chose to liquidate our miles on our respective accounts.
To do this, we will do 2 separate one-way trips: a London-Paris-Cancun on the one hand, then a Mexico-Paris-London on the other hand, all for 55000 miles per person per leg, and almost £350 in taxes. Not cheap!

A few weeks before departure, our Paris-London flight will be cancelled and we will have to ask for a rebooking on KLM, so it will be Mexico-Amsterdam-London.

For the domestic flight, I will take Aeromexico in Business on Dreamliner, for £300 for two people. Fair.

Hotels
As for the hotels, the choice in Cancun will be limited: it will be the Royalton Chic, the JW that I liked so much being totally full.

For Mexico, the choice is free and I will choose the the St. RegisI really love this brand.

Routes and attractions
