After a good hour spent in the Centurion lounge, we go to gate 11 a few minutes before the theoretical boarding time.
As a reminder, here is the itinerary followed:
Boarding
When we arrive at the gate, the boarding has already started but we go directly to the already deserted priority line.
And in a few seconds, we will already be at the end of the gateway.
Cabin and welcome
The reception is courteous and we go to our seats, the 01A and C.
This is the traditional Air France Smart&Beyond cabin, with a neutralized middle seat.
The boarding follows its course and a flight attendant distributes small bottles of Thonon. No oshibori.
Service and catering
A glimmer of hope appears whenI see an item in the “Hot Element” Galley with the flight number... Either it was for the crew, or we’ll never see it.
Becauseit is an Economy type service that will appear, with cardboard cups. My rear neighbor will ask for a glass of champagne, and it is with a pinched smile that the purser will serve her a half glass and put the bottle away immediately.
I will get a Nescafé in a cardboard cup.
A few minutes later, a flight attendant will pass by with a basket of junk food.
So the service is back, but it’s pathetic.
Arrival and disembarkation
We arrive about 15 minutes early, at gate K of terminal 2E.
Bottom line
A usual Air France flight on the route, with a totally unmotivated crew. Big black spot.
