Iberia Business, Madrid Barajas – Malaga, Airbus A319 : Excellent service

End of the trip with the last segment of my route to Malaga. I originally wanted to go to the Iberia Dali lounge.

Nevertheless, my flight leaving from the T4S satellite, I decide to go directly to these doors, a second lounge existing there… Mistake! Since my flight was Schengen, I do not have access to the Velasquez lounge, reserved for non-Schengen doors.

As a reminder, here is the itinerary followed:

Today’s itinerary

Boarding

Boarding begins 30 minutes before the departure of the flight to Malaga.

Priorities are respected, groups are called by name. I am among the first to board.

Cabin and welcome

The welcome is warm and I settle in my seat, the 3F. During the boarding, the purser asks me if I agree to move to 4F to reunite a family, which I accept without any problem.

Unlike the previous flight, these are the old Iberia cabins, more dated but with very comfortable seats.

Service and catering

The service starts as soon as the signs are switched off.

In a very surprising way,it is an almost complete meal that is served. And it will be excellent, more than perfect for a one hour block flight, and 40 minutes in flight.

Several refills will be offered, the crew will be excellent.

Arrival and disembarkation

We arrive at the gate about ten minutes ahead of schedule. The luggage, on the other hand, will take a long time to arrive. Shame.

Bottom line

An excellent domestic flight. Too bad the ground experience on arrival is not very premium.
