Iberia Business, Madrid Barajas – Paris Orly, Airbus A321 : Excellent service on board

Fresh off my flight from Malaga, a bus takes me to the Schengen arrivals. The connecting circuit allows direct access to the boarding hall via escalators.

Today’s itinerary

Boarding

The flight is in Last Callwhen I arrive at the gate. However, I use the priority lane for Group 1 and board immediately. Again, no check of the vaccination status is done, just a “Vacunado?” to which I answer “Yes”, but that’s it…

Cabin and reception

The welcome is rather warm, and I settle in 1A. There will be a mishap on the cabin luggage and I will refuse to attach my bag… I do not travel in Business to be encumbered, especially in row 1! The cabin manager will handle it.

I find the same comfortable seats as on the previous flight.

Service and catering

The service starts as soon asthe signal light is switched off.

For more elegance, it will be made “on the tray”, and I will choose the pasta this time.

Everything was really fresh and excellent, hats off to Iberia for their catering!

Arrival and disembarkation

I’m dreaming… We arrive at Orly on time…But we are taken by bus to the terminal! How can a mainline airline not have a gate available?

Bottom line

A very good flight but once again ahorrible ground experience on arrival.
