American Airlines Domestic First, Miami International – Boston Logan, Boeing 737-700: Pleasant Catering

The final flight of this Mexican itinerary was this return leg to Boston.

Boarding

I arrived at the gate when boarding for this 737 was already well underway. I boarded while Group 3 was already being called.

Cabin and welcome

The First cabin on this 737 was arranged in 4 rows of 2-2 recliner seats. A pre-departure drink was offered, and I chose a glass of red wine, unfortunately served in a plastic cup.

We left the gate on time.

Service and catering

The service begins as soon as the seatbelt sign is switched off.

A hot oshibori was served before the aperitif was brought around with a mix of warm nuts.

The meal tray followed, consisting of short ribs served with macaroni and cheese. Excellent.

The starter was fresh, while the dessert was a little too sweet for my taste.

Arrival and disembarkation

We arrived at the gate on time in Boston, and disembarkation was quick.

Bottom line

A flight with solid service and good-quality catering.
