As part of a working session for one of my clients, I had to travel to Florida for a brief business trip, with stops in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.
Transportation
As for transport, I booked a round-trip flight to West Palm Beach on American Airlines in Domestic First, for a very reasonable fare for such a short distance, a little over $400.
To travel to Fort Lauderdale, I took Florida’s new high-speed rail service, Brightline, in Premium class, for just under $120 round-trip. Not cheap, but that fare included Uber transfers to and from the station.
Accomodation
As for accommodation, and unusually for me, I stayed with Marriott: the Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale for my first night, and the Marriott West Palm Beach for the second.
