After a reasonable connection in Dallas, it was time for the second segment of this itinerary to Mexico.
Connection and lounge
To reach Concourse B, from where my flight to Monterrey was departing, I had to take the airside shuttle and headed to the Admirals Club near the B gates, located at the far end of the concourse.
The welcome was good, but the lounge has remained very much in its original condition and was fairly crowded. I only stopped briefly for a coffee before heading back to the boarding gate.
Boarding
Boarding began on time, with priority passengers, including myself, invited first, and I was quickly on the jet bridge.
Cabin and welcome
The welcome at the door was courteous and I quickly entered the First cabin of this Embraer 175, configured 1-2 with comfortable recliner seats. I was seated in the last row, in a solo seat, 04A.
A pre-departure drink was offered, and I chose a coffee with milk.
Service and catering
Service began once the seatbelt sign was switched off, and I ordered a glass of red wine while helping myself to a few snacks from the basket offered.
Arrival and disembarkation
We arrived slightly ahead of schedule, though in rainy weather.
Bottom line
A fairly unremarkable flight, but with pleasant service.
