Chase Sapphire Lounge, Boston Logan: Excellent in Every Aspect

As I began my journey to Western Michigan, I made a stop at a lounge I’ve been eager to try for a while—the new Chase Sapphire Lounge, which opened recently at Boston Logan.

Check-in and ground experience

For my flight with American Airlines, I completed the check-in formalities using the American Airlines app.

I also made changes to the first flight of my itinerary to secure my connection in Charlotte.

Within seconds, I had my boarding passes available in both Passbook and PDF format.

On the day of departure, I booked an Uber a little less than two hours before the flight and arrived at the airport in less than 15 minutes.

Since I had no checked luggage, I headed straight to the TSA checkpoint, which I cleared in just 2 minutes flat.

Location and welcome

The Chase Sapphire Lounge is located between gates B39 and B40, quite far from the American Airlines boarding area.

It took me about 10 minutes to reach the entrance, which is beautifully designed.

An elevator ride to the 4th floor takes you to the reception area, where I was warmly greeted.

This lounge is accessible to Priority Pass members once a year and to Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders an unlimited number of times, along with one guest.

Lounge design

The design of the lounge is impeccable, in my opinion.

Various relaxation areas and dining spaces are available, as well as several well-stocked bars.

Catering

The food and beverage offer is excellent. A buffet is available, but above all it’s possible to order dishes and cocktails from an online menu available by QR Code.

As it was breakfast time, I opted for scrambled eggs and salmon toast, which were absolutely delicious.

Bottom line

An exceptional lounge that I will return to without hesitation… It’s a shame I could only stay for about 20 minutes!
