Cabin and welcome

On this Boeing 737-800, the Domestic First cabin is configured with 4 rows of comfortable recliner seats in a 2-2 layout, as is typical on American Airlines.

Service and catering

Service began about fifteen minutes after takeoff. The flight attendant serving First Class took orders by addressing passengers by name—very professional.

I ordered a whiskey on the rocks, which was promptly served.
