So here I am, off on a 4-day business trip to North Florida.
As a reminder, here is the itinerary followed:
Check-in and ground experience
I checked in 24 hours before departure for Orlando. I received my Passbook boarding passes.
Unfortunately, just before going to bed, I received a cancellation notice for my first flight from Boston to Charlotte. Nonetheless, I managed to rebook myself on a connecting flight to Miami, without being able to receive an assigned seat..
On the day of departure, I arrived at the airport almost 3 hours before my flight’s new departure time. With no boarding pass left, I went to a kiosk to print out my check-in confirmation and headed for the TSA priority checkpoint. I’m glad this line still exists at Boston Logan, as it has disappeared in many airports in favor of the TSA Pre line.
I was airside in about ten minutes, despite the crowds.
Location and welcome
The lounge is located near gate B4. The welcome was charming as usual. The agent checked if he could assign me a seat, but it wasn’t be possible at the moment.
Lounge design
The design of the lounge hadn’t changed since my last visit. The only complaint I’d make is that the air-conditioning is too cold and pulses at full blast.
Catering
The food and beverage offer was the usual one, with plenty of bread products and great scrambled eggs, which are quite unfrequent in the United States.
Bottom line
A pleasant stay at the show, which was rather long this time, with a long work session.
