Here are the steps taken by Delta to adapt the service and customer experience to the constraints of COVID-19.

General health measures at Delta
Mask mandatory in flight except during the meal.
Seats neutralised on board. Seat occupancy is limited to: 50% in First Class and on domestic flights in Delta One; 60% in Main Cabin, Delta Comfort+ and Delta Premium Select; and 75% in Delta One.
Boarding from the back to the front, thus without respecting the “old” priorities.
Short/medium haul in eco on Delta after COVID
On flights of less than 900 miles: 2 snacks in economy and comfort +.
Drinks will only be available in individual bottles – no alcohol – with plastic cups and ice also being removed during this period.
Short/medium haul business on Delta after COVID
On flights under 900 miles: choice of 2 snacks in First (the name of the short/medium haul business).
The First Class and Delta One meal service on domestic and international short-haul flights of more than 900 miles will now be replaced by individually pre-packaged, non-perishable boxes with two snack offers.
Drinks will only be available in individual bottles – no alcohol – with plastic cups and ice also being removed during this period.
Long haul in eco on Delta after COVID
Delta Premium Select
- Choice of dishes, with salad, starter and dessert
- Full selection of drinks, including beer, wine and spirits
Main cabin and Delta Comfort+
- Delta’s Bellini cocktail will be available on request only during the meal and beverage service.

- Full selection of drinks, including beer, wine and spirits
Long haul in business and first on Delta after COVID
Delta One
- Drinks offered before departure will be individual bottles of water
- Choice of main courses, as well as a selection of starters, breads and desserts
- Full selection of drinks, including beer, wine and spirits
Pillows, blankets and headphones on Delta after COVID
The hot towel service has been temporarily suspended in all cabins.
All blankets and bedding are washed after each flight and all hand cabin cushions are discarded after use.
Carry-on baggage
No changes announced.
Lounges :
Food and drink are reduced, showers are no longer available.
The only Sky Club lounges open are in Atlanta (3), Boston, Detroit, La Guardia, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Seattle, Salk Lake City, Washington DC.
