What service on Emirates with COVID health restrictions?

Here are the steps Emirates has taken to adapt the service and customer experience to the constraints of COVID-19.

General health measures at Emirates

A hygiene kit is provided at check-in.

Wearing a mask and gloves is mandatory in the airport and a mask in flight.

Social distancing in the airport.

Boarding by row from the back to the front of the aircraft so no respect of the usual priorities.

Single-use menus will be provided.

The driver service is discontinued until 1 July 2021, free wifi and live TV are no longer available.

Short/medium haul eco on Emirates after COVID

Reduced options according to the customer without knowing how much the offer is degraded. Beer, wine and soft drinks are served.

Short/medium haul business on Emirates after COVID

A simplified menu is offered and a reduced choice of drinks compared to the normal service. Champagne is still available as well as all spirits but cocktails are no longer served.

Long haul economy on Emirates after COVID

Reduced options according to the customer without knowing how much the offer is degraded. Beer, wine and soft drinks are served.

Long haul business and first class on Emirates after COVID

A simplified menu is offered and a reduced choice of drinks compared to the normal service. On flights of more than 3.5 hours the dinner-on-demand service is maintained first. Champagne is still available as well as all spirits but cocktails are no longer served.

Pillows, blankets and headphones on Emirates after COVID

Mattresses, pillows, blankets, headphones and toys will be hygienically sealed

There are no more hot towels but refreshing towels in business and first.

Carry-on baggage

Only essential cabin baggage is allowed in flight (handbag, computer, etc.)

Lounges :

All lounges are closed.
