After half an hour in the lounge, I headed to the gate for boarding.
Boarding
I waited a few minutes before boarding began, right on time, with passengers requiring special assistance and ConciergeKey members invited first.
Group 1 passengers, including myself, were then called, and I was invited to board by the charming gate agent.
Cabin and welcome
The welcome at the door was warm, and I made my way into the Domestic First cabin of this A319, configured with two rows of 2-2 recliner seats.
During boarding, a pre-departure drink was offered, and I ordered a sweetened coffee with milk, which was promptly brought to me.
Boarding was completed five minutes ahead of schedule.
Service and catering
Service began once we had reached cruising altitude, and I ordered a sparkling water, which was promptly served over ice.
A snack basket was then presented, and I chose a packet of caramel rice cakes, which made for a pleasant accompaniment.
Arrival and disembarkation
We arrived at the gate around ten minutes ahead of schedule, which allowed me to secure my connection to Boston.
Bottom line
A solid flight with an attentive crew.
