American Airlines Admirals Club, Boston Logan Terminal B: Very good, as usual

Off I go on this itinerary to Atlanta, with a stop at the American Airlines lounge in Boston, which I know well.

Purchase/Reservation

I booked this itinerary a little under two weeks before departure.

I booked Domestic First, routing via Philadelphia and Charlotte on the outbound, and via Miami on the return.
Because of a weather alert, I was able to modify my flight and remove one of the outbound connections.

Check-in and ground experience

I completed check-in online through the American Airlines app and downloaded my PDF boarding passes right away.

I arrived at the airport around 1 hour and 30 minutes before the departure of my flight, using a ride booked through the Sixt app.

I chose to go through security on the United side rather than the American side in order to use the CLEAR lane, which is not available on the other side.

TSA PreCheck took only a few seconds, and after noticing a long line at the Chase Sapphire Lounge, I headed over to the American side and to the appropriate lounge.

Location and Welcome

The lounge is still located near gate B4.

The welcome was excellent, and I was admitted after my eligibility was verified.

Design

The lounge design is successful and in line with the new American Airlines standards.

It features shades of grey, camel, and red, and offers areas for lounging, working, and dining.

A bar is available at the back of the lounge.

Food & Beverage Offering

The food offering is of good quality, both on the cold and hot sides.

I helped myself to a selection of cheeses and a bit of mashed potatoes.

A very good, productive stay. With impressive consistency.
