After a twenty-minute stopover at Miami’s Flagship lounge, I boarded my last segment of the day for Orlando.
As a reminder, here is the itinerary followed:
Boarding
I arrived at the gate a few minutes before boarding begins. The area was rather messy, like an Air France boarding gate! Unusual for an American domestic flight.
Handicapped passengers and ConciergeKey members were called to board, in great confusion.
Then boarding for zone 4… without zones 1 to 3 having been called… Nevertheless, I made my way through the crowd.
Cabin and welcome
The reception was non-existent (no one at the door), but the cabin was strictly identical to that of my previous flight.
Despite having boarded relatively early, the baggage compartments were almost all monopolized by a single family… I had to go 4 rows further back to install my suitcase and computer bag, as I couldn’t keep anything with me since I was in the first row.
Boarding continued and at the end of the boarding process, a flight attendant passed by with a tray of welcome drinks.
I sipped an apple juice as the last passengers boarded.
Service and catering
Service began a few minutes after the seat belt sign went off.
My drink order was taken first and I ordered a Diet Coke, which was brought to me with its can, but unfortunately in a plastic glass. Too bad.
The flight came to an end, and this time we did not get the junk food basket.
Arrival and disembarkation
The taxi took a while and we arrived at the gate about fifteen minutes after landing. I was quickly on my way to the rental parking lot.
Bottom line
A good flight, but the service could have been more attentive.
