After a busy day in the capital of Lorraine, it was time for me to return to Paris.
Boarding
Although the train and its track were posted about 30 minutes before departure, the doors to the platform were not opened until about 15 minutes before the train’s departure.
A ticket check was performed by the platform agents, and the train arrived a few moments later.
Cabin
As usual on the Paris Est network, an old TGV Réseau trainset with a Christian Lacroix renovation was positioned.
My reservation was in car 5 and I settled into my window seat.
The pitch was very limited and the armrest had to be shared with my neighbor, who was also intending to work. Not an easy task.
Service and catering
On a TGV journey, there was obviously no service at the seat, especially in second class. The bar was open in car 4, but I did not use it this time.
Arrival and disembarkation
Once again, our train was delayed by about fifteen minutes on arrival, for no particular reason.
Bottom line
A very basic journey, the comfort even on the TGV InOui brand being largely perfectible.
