After a restful night at the Holiday Inn Express, it was time to head back to Boston.
Check-in and Ground Experience
The route from the hotel to terminal 2D is well signposted.
Simply take the CDGVAL from Parc PX station to Terminal 2, then take the corridor between this station and Terminal 2D.
Check-in was well signposted and there was a priority line.
I waited a few minutes before being taken care of by a very charming check-in agent, who had to re-enter all passport and visa information before she could issue my two boarding passes for London and Boston. She told me that the Extime lounge was being used, and will wrote it on the boarding pass.
Location and welcome
After passing through security using the priority line, and through the duty free area, the lounge is located opposite, between terminals 2B and 2D, in the newly-built junction building.
After taking the elevator, I was cordially welcomed and invited into the lounge.
Lounge design
The design of the lounge had not changed since my last visit, and is very nice. A variety of seating and dining areas were available.
A shower, which I made good use of, was also available, as was a changing room.
Catering
The catering offer was very solid, with a hot and cold buffet available at all hours.
The alcoholic beverages were also quite premium, and champagne was offered at discretion.
