Today’s itinerary

Check-In and ground experience

The day before departure to Las Vegas, I checked for flight changes using the Same Day Confirmed feature, available for free to oneworld Sapphire and Emerald passengers.

Bingo: I can change my itinerary to leave and therefore arrive 4 hours earlier in Las Vegas and enjoy my evening. I confirmed my new itinerary with a few clicks.

I arrived at Boston Logan terminal B about 2h30 before the departure of my flight to Phoenix.

I decided to check my cabin baggage, as I’m in the first row on my first flight and American airlines are known for the quality of their baggage handling.

I then went to the priority security line and was airside in a few minutes.

Location and welcome

The lounge is located in the American Airlines departure concourse, near gate B4. Its entrance is easy to spot.

I am greeted with a big smile and after scanning my boarding pass and checking my British Airways Gold Guest List card, I am invited to enter the lounge.

Lounge design

The design of the lounge has obviously not changed since my last visit. Nevertheless, I was able to take pictures of some areas that were crowded during my last visit, such as the relaxation area or the bar.

The whole place looks great and the brightness of the place makes it one of my favorite lounges on the platform.

Catering

Unlike my last visit in the early afternoon, this time it’s the breakfast offer that is in place. Quite basic, but with a hot option that remains qualitative. And the drinks offering remains identical to the one of the afternoon.

Bottom line

Another pleasant passage in this lounge, I can’t wait for the next time!
