Third visit for me to Sin City: Las Vegas! This time, contrary to my previous visits, for a conference since the main event in my field of activity takes place this year in the capital of Nevada.
Let’s go for a few days in this intriguing city.
Flights
In order to maximize my Tier Points allowing me to qualify for the Gold Guest List status from BA, I decided to book on American Airlines, choosing carefully my itinerary to be sure to get a 140 TP segment on the outbound and return flights.
So it’s Phoenix on the way out… And Los Angeles on the way back as a connection point, and I’ll finally be able to test the Airbus A321T so special of American Airlines, and in Flagship First, the most premium product of the airline.
Hotels
As far as hotels are concerned, I hesitated for a long time for Las Vegas. I originally wanted to do some hotel hopping, but it was too complicated regarding my professional obligations, so I chose to spend 3 nights at the new Tribute Portfolio property located off-strip.
For my connection in Los Angeles, I stayed away from the airport at the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey.
Restaurants
For the restaurants, I decided to treat myself by going to dine at Guy Savoy at Cesars Palace for one of the nights of my stay, but also at the restaurant of my hotel and by having lunch at one of the Gordon Ramsay’s venues in Vegas.
