Just off my flight from Boston, I saw that the lounge next to my gate is totally saturated: so I decided to walk to the B gates where the regional flights leave from.
As a reminder, here is the itinerary followed:
Location and welcome
This lounge is located on the mezzanine of the B gates in Phoenix. It is accessible by stairs or elevator. The welcome was professional without being warm and after scanning my boarding pass and my British Airways Gold Guest List card, I was invited to enter the lounge.
Lounge design
Very tired lounge… Probably inherited from the merger between American and US Airways, this lounge is tired, and quite busy… It will be difficult for me to take pictures without people. However, you can have a small glimpse with the few pictures I could take. There are, however, spaces to rest, to eat and even a self-service printer and toilets. It’s just very, very dated.
Catering
The food offering was not very tasty during my visit, chili meat and some industrial cheeses and salads. I settled for an excellent latte.
A full bar was available, but I did not use it during my stay.
Bottom line
A not really memorable stay, but still better than waiting in a crowded departure lounge!
