Today’s itinerary

Location and welcome

The Admirals Club Tampa is located in concourse F, the departure point for American’s flights to its various American hubs.

The airport is very pleasant, probably one of the most beautiful in North America.

TSA was very fluid and after a few minutes I was in front of the Club entrance.

I was greeted courteously and admitted in the lounge after checking my eligibility.

Lounge design

In the lounge, the Admirals Club of the ’80s had been retained, with its grey carpet and wood-panelled walls.

However, more recent-style gray and red furniture had been added. Not a bad mix.

Catering

The club boasted a buffet with quality hot and average cold items. But at least an espresso machine was present and I made good use of it.

A full bar was available and at least the list of free drinks was mentioned.

Bottom line

A pleasant space in which I spent 2 hours before my flight.
