Final segment of this itinerary to Dubai, this time on a regional flight, though still operated by a wide-body aircraft.

Boarding

We arrived at the gate just as boarding for our flight was wrapping up.

We boarded immediately and, once on the jet bridge, used the left-hand corridor, which took us directly to the Business Class cabin.

Cabin and welcome

The welcome at the door was perfect. The cabin crew member helped me fold the stroller, and we were then escorted to our seats, 1E and 1F, in a honeymoon-style configuration but facing toward the rear of the aircraft. The QSuite feels even wider on the 777.

Menus were distributed, along with a few toys for my son.

We were also served Arabic coffee and a date, a hallmark of the First Class service.

Service and catering

As the flight was extremely short, drink orders were taken on the ground. I chose a lemon mint drink along with a mezze platter, plus a double espresso on the side. Everything was delicious.

Arrival and disembarkation

We arrived on time in Dubai and, within around 20 minutes, were in the Uber that took us to the hotel.

Bottom line

An excellent flight.
