Today’s itinerary

Boarding

I leave the lounge as the FIDS is showing the flight as boarding… And when I arrive at the gate, it’s a complete zoo, with disorganized boarding and ground staff overwhelmedby events.

After 15 long minutes, the priority boarding starts well, slowly, on a differentiated door than that of the General Boarding.

Cabin and welcome

I find the Qsuite cabin discovered on the first segment of this route from London. Obviously, the emotion is not the same, butthe seat remains exceptional.

I settle into my 5K seat and drop all my electronic stuff in the suite and my luggage in the trunks. The seats are so large that an entire trunk is available for each.

I start to work, the reception is extremely late and not personalized, like “I guess you already said no to your welcome drink…” No way, I was simply never offered one! So the flight attendant does the job, I will take this time a Signature lemon mint which will be excellent, and a fresh towel will be asked but a hot one brought... It starts well.

Service and catering

Just before takeoff, the flight attendant takes my breakfast order. I order from the menu previously placed in the suite:

For me, it will be an omelette, with a smoothie, fruits and a glass of Champagne.

Just after takeoff, my glass of rosé champagne is served with nuts (not hot). At least the champagne will be chilled!

About fifteen minutes later, my tray is served as is:

I won’t finish the omelet packed with onions, but the granola and fruit were pretty good. No refill proposal will be proactively made during the meal (I had to ask for more champagne).

I will then sleep for almost 3 hoursuntil the beginning of the descent.

Arrival and disembarkation

We arrive at the boarding pier C with about twenty minutes of advance on the initially planned schedule, and I run towards the security formalities.

Bottom line

A correct flight but without more, probably due to a mediocre crew.
