United Club, Newark International C74: Excellent

After my first flight from Boston, I made my way to Terminal C, where my next flight was departing. Here’s a recap of the lounge experience there.

Connection process

To move from Terminal A to Terminal C, there’s no option to walk or take an automated shuttle—you have to take a bus connecting the two concourses.

The ride was quick, and I arrived at Terminal C in under 10 minutes.

Location and welcome

The lounge is located near Gate C74, accessible via an escalator. I was greeted with a friendly hello and directed to use the automatic access doors by scanning my boarding pass. It was quick and easy.

Lounge design

I have to admit I was impressed by the lounge’s design, which is very modern and elegantly furnished.

There are stylish lounging areas, workspaces, and dining areas spread throughout the lounge. I spent about an hour there before heading to my gate.

Catering

The catering was of high quality, offering a varied, hot, and complete breakfast selection.

I enjoyed a delicious breakfast sandwich and some succulent pork sausages.

Bottom line

An excellent lounge—not too crowded—a great experience overall!
