British Airways Arrivals Lounge, London Heathrow: Very convenient to refresh yourself!

Right after I arrived from Miami, what better way to cool off before heading home? That’s the purpose of the arrivals lounge I’ll be using this time.

As a reminder, here is the route followed:

Today’s itinerary

Location

The British Airways arrivals lounge is located on the mezzanine of Terminal 5, accessible by escalator from the arrivals area.

The route is well marked and easy to find.

As a Gold member arriving on a long-haul flight in any class, I have access to this lounge.

Lounge design

The lounge is in the usual style of the BA lounges in Terminal 5, in terms of decor and furnishings.

The big change, however, is the presence of more work spaces than in the other lounges, but also by the presence of showers. Of many showers. Almost a hundred showers. I am impressed!

Catering

The food and beverage offering is equivalent to that of the Galleries First lounge. I’ll order some scrambled eggs after my shower.

Bottom line

A great lounge before heading home to London to meet my family!
