After this grueling trip to Brazil, I decide to make a stop at the Arrivals lounge in Heathrow’s Terminal 5.
As a reminder, here is the itinerary followed:
Location
The British Airways arrivals lounge is located in Heathrow Terminal 5. After the post customs exit, it is located on a mezzanine accessible either by elevator or escalator.
It is only available to British Airways customers arriving from a long-haul flight in Club or First class, or to Gold passengers traveling in any class but still arriving from a long-haul flight. Guests are not allowed.
Lounge design
The design is equivalent to the Galleries lounges on the platform, with plenty of space for both resting, dining and working.
Attendance was minimal when I visited.
Catering offer
The food and beverage offer is equivalent to that of the Galleries lounges, i.e. a full hot breakfast, coffee machines, cold drinks.
Bottom line
A place to refresh yourself before the rest of your trip.
