Boarding

Concourse C is separated from the main terminal, and can be reached by train, with an announced travel time of 15 minutes from the terminal. This will actually take aboutten minutes.

When I arrive at Concourse C, boarding has already begun. The priority line has already been boarded and I can, in turn, board directly.

Strangely, even if the plane is in the gate it is not in contactand we will embark by a footbridge. This allows me to take a nice picture.

Once at the top of the catwalk, the welcome is warm and I am directed to the left, for my seat located in 01A.

Cabin and welcome

The A350-900’s Business cabin is very elegant, even ifthe suite configuration does not give much air.

The seat itself is an improved version of the Super Diamond seat, with a door. The door will not be unlocked until before the meal.

It is also very elegant,in very nice dark tones.

The welcome is excellent. My jacket is collected to be put on a hanger, a glass of champagne is brought to me.

The comfort kits are distributed and are elegant and comprehensive.

The menus are also distributed for the flight. A very good flight to come.

The orderis taken on the groundbefore the takeoff.

Service and catering

The service starts shortly after the seat belt sign has been switched off.

IMG_1517

Before the meal, an aperitif is brought and I will take a glass of champagne.

IMG_1525

Then a tray containingthe entire meal is brought in at the same time.

IMG_1526

The grilled caulifloweris interesting, especially with the spicy tomato sauce.

IMG_1527

The short ribs will be a bit heavy

The cheese will bequite good, and the chocolate mousse well balanced.

The bread will also be excellent.

During the meal, several refills of champagne will be offered.

IMG_1528

I will then spend an excellent 7 hours nightbefore waking up 1h30 before the arrival.

Breakfast will beserved immediately. I will choose the Full English Breakfast, which will be, as usual, excellent. Refills of coffee will be brought to me constantly.

Arrival and disembarkation

We arrived at the gate about15 minutes behind schedule, due to our late Heathrow departure that we were unable to catch up with.

The path to immigration will be long, but the immigration itself will pass quickly. A brief check of my test and full immunization schedule will be done before the booths.

Bottom line

An excellent flight, although the service could be greatly improvedin several stages, especially on such a long flight.
