As I arrive early in the morning in Sao Paulo before a day full of meetings, I make a detour to the hotel to drop my stuff.
As a reminder, here is the itinerary followed:
Booking
I booked this itinerary almosttwo months before my arrival. Thanks to my corporate rate, I benefit from a very preferential price of less than $200 per night for a junior suite. I jump at the opportunity!
So here we go for 5 nights!
Arrival
Before I arrive at the hotel, I will book a transfer from the airportvia my Ambassador. The latter will be confirmed to me very quickly for 45 USD.
I also ask my Ambassador forthe use of Your24, so that I can enjoy my room upon arrival, allowing me to take a shower and a little nap upon arrival. The request will be acceptedby the hotel and I will be able to enjoy my suite upon arrival.
Despite my status and constant checking, I will not be upgraded above what I had previously booked.
When I arrived at the airport, I was greeted by a small digital sign with my name. Beforehand, during my flight, I receive an e-mail notification with a picture of my driver and the exact location.
I will find it very easily after the customs.
After a journey of about 40 minutes, we arrive at the hotel.
As expected, my suite is ready. However, I will not receive any particular Elite welcome, obviously no upgrade is offered to me nor any benefit is presented to me.I am told about the club lounge, but this is not an Elite benefit, it is related to my room category. So, zero points on the Elite recognition.
Room
My suite, 1509, is located on the 15th floor of the hotel.
I would classify it more as a junior suite.
In the spacious entrance, there is a small closet. I will mainly store my shirts, suitcase and shoes there.
On the right is the bathroom, quite spacious with its two basins, toilet and bidet. A bathtub is located near the large window, and a shower (not very practical because it splashes everywhere) near the door.
Then, the main room is made up of a very comfortable long size bed, facing a large television and a huge corner deskof which I will make good use.
A large corner window will fill the room with light.

Hotel facilities
Despite the fact that the hotel is in the center of the Brazilian megalopolis, it has nice size facilities.
Fitness room
The fitness room is located on the second floor of the building. I will make good use of it every day. It is very well equipped, but the equipment is getting old.
Spa
I will not use it. I had a treatment booked, but since it was performed by a male masseur, I preferred to decline.
Pool
The pool is very small and not very pleasant. I will only use it once. The service at the pool is very slow.
Restaurants
The catering in the hotel is quite good.
Club Lounge – Breakfast Service
Breakfast isserved in the Club Lounge from 6:30 am to 10:30am daily.
I will quickly go there onone of the morningsof my stay. The reception and the service are perfect.
Room service – Lunch service
I will have lunch in room service on one of the lunches. The club sandwich will be quite unbalanced, with the tomato taking over the rest. On the other hand, thecreme brulee with Dulce de Leche will be delicious.
Room service – Dinner service
One evening, I will order pasta with tomato sauce.Very basic, really not good.
Departure
I will leave the hotel around2pm on the day of my return to London. The late check-out will of course be granted, and the formalities were done quickly.
Bottom line
An excellent stay. If the initial reception could have been better, the service was just excellent. I’ll return.
