The first step of this itinerary to New York starts with a domestic flight on a regional module.
Check-in and ground experience
I completed the check-in formalities via the Delta app 24 hours before departure, retrieving my boarding passes in both Passbook and PDF formats.
On the day of departure, I booked a Lyft to the airport, but it didn’t account for road closures near my home, and we took 35 minutes to reach the airport, a journey that normally takes 8 minutes.
Once I arrived at Terminal A of Boston Logan, I passed through TSA security in less than 2 minutes. I then headed to the satellite section of Terminal A, where the lounge is located.
Location and welcome
This lounge is located in the satellite area of Terminal A, connected to the main terminal by escalators and moving walkways. It’s accessible via an elevator near Gate A18.
Lounge eligibility is verified through kiosks where you scan your boarding pass and American Express Platinum card.
Lounge design
The design of the lounge is very well done, with plenty of spaces for relaxation and dining. It’s quite spacious,
featuring modern and pleasant decor. The lounge was moderately crowded during my visit.
Catering
During my visit, the breakfast selection was available, and it was of acceptable quality.
I made a small hot selection and accompanied it with a cappuccino.
Bottom line
A very pleasant stay in this recently renovated lounge.
