Scandinavian Airlines SAS Plus (operated by Jettime), Copenhagen Kastrup – Paris Charles-de-Gaulle: Delayed but pleasant

After a short stay at the SAS Gold lounge in Copenhagen, I made my way to the gate for the last flight of this outbound itinerary to Paris.

Today’s itinerary

Boarding

I arrived at gate D4 a few moments before priority boarding began.

Priority boarding was then announced, and I scanned my boarding pass on one of the two automated gates available to passengers.

To speed up the procedure, and as usual, SAS invited passengers seated at the back of the aircraft to use of stairs.

Cabin and welcome

The welcome at the gate was warm, and I settled into my seat 01A. The baggage racks were strangely small.

No welcome drink here, this is actually a Premium Economy cabin offered by SAS on short- and medium-haul flights.

I had previously paid to block seat 01B, for $34, on check-in day.

Service and catering

Service began 15 minutes after takeoff.

Breakfast boxes were distributed, along with hot bread and coffee.

I nibbled. Special mention for the fruit juice cocktail with apple, cranberry and ginger.

Arrival and disembarkation

We arrived at the gate thirty minutes behind schedule. The exit was very smooth and I joined my Uber, which was waiting for me at the dedicated pick-up point.

Bottom line

A good flight despite the delay.
