At the initial scheduled departure time, I leave the Galleries First lounge at the initial departure time for Copenhagen.
As a reminder, here is the planned itinerary:
Boarding
On arrival at the gate, groups 1 to 4 are being boarded and after checking my passport, I proceed to scan my card at the automatic gates.
No waiting, I arrive without queuing at the door of my aircraft.
Cabin and welcome
The welcome at the door is cordial without being warm, and I settle into my seat, 2F today.
The cabin is the new Airbus NEO cabin, so there are no tablets between the two seats in the Business cabin.
Service and catering
The service starts approximately 10 minutes after the seatbelt lights have been switched off.
Despite our delay, a breakfast meal tray is served, always very good on British Airways. I’ll have the Full English, with a glass of champagne.
Champagne refills will be offered until our arrival.
Arrival and disembarkation
We landed almost 40 minutes late, but as the taxi was very short, I arrived at the gate only 25 minutes behind schedule.
Immigration will be deserted and within 10 minutes of exiting the jetway I will be on the train to the main station.
Bottom line
An uneventful flight, pleasant but delayed and with an overly mechanical crew.
