Today’s itinerary

Check-In and ground experience

As usual, I check-in online on the BA app 24 hours before departure. I will only use my mobile boarding pass for this journey.

I arrive at the airport 2.5 hours before my flight to Copenhagen is due to depart. I use The First Wing for the security check and will be airside in less than a minute.

Location

The Galleries First lounge is located in the Galleries South complex. It is accessible either directly via The First Wing or from the boarding area.

Lounge design

The design of the lounge has not changed since my last visit and you can find a more complete visit here. The furniture is starting to show its age.

Catering

The catering offer has nevertheless evolved, as table orders are now very limited, and buffets are back.

Even though it is of high quality, I feel that it is a “downgrade” from the generalized table service that was previously in place.

The breakfast buffet is very extensive and I will serve myself a small plate.

Bottom line

A pleasant stay, with a quality catering offer.
