After a busy stay in the French capital, I’m back in London.
As a reminder, here is the itinerary followed:
Ground experience
As has been the case for almost 18 months, access to the terminals is reserved for passengers at Paris Charles-de-Gaulle.
So I arrive just over an hour before my flight.
The British Airways counters have been temporarily relocated and are busy. I checked in online with VeriFLY and can now go straight to boarding.
Police and security checks go smoothly, and I’m in the boarding lounge in less than 5 minutes.
Lounge
Unfortunately, the lounge situation was poor when I visited, as absolutely no lounges were open at 2A/C. A bit sad.
Boarding
Boarding starts on time, but before that, passengers without paper boarding passes are called to check UK entry documentation. Too bad, because the VeriFLY application is supposed to be able to do just that. Cette vérification cessera à mon prochain passage.
Priorities are nonetheless respected despite the absence of a materialized priority lane.
Cabin and welcome
The welcome is rather cold, but the cabin is typical of Club Europe flights, with a tablet in the middle seat.
Service and catering
The service will be quite good. A full hot breakfast is served.
The ham croissant will be quite good and the service fast.
Arrival and disembarkation
What a difference from terminal 2: arrival will be very fast, with immigration clearance in just 5 minutes!
Bottom line
A flight without much history, but without much passion either.
