TAP Premium Lounge, Lisbon Portela: I hadn’t missed much…

As I disembarked from Boston, I had to go through security to reach my boarding gate, I decided to go through immigration to get to the lounge. The security is a real zoo, with people who overtake you without really knowing why, in short, a good 15 minutes will be necessary to go back to the Schengen boarding gates.

As a reminder, here is the itinerary followed:

Today’s itinerary

Location and welcome

TAP has only one lounge in its network, and it is located in the Schengen area of Lisbon airport.

Once in the boarding area, you have to take an escalator to get to the lounges, both the airport one and the TAP lounge where I’m going.

The welcome is excellent, my boarding pass is scanned and I am invited to enter.

Lounge design

The design of the living room is quite modern, in dark tones of gray and black. Various areas are available: lounging, dining, relaxation.

The show will be quite full and I won’t be able to take many pictures.

Catering

The restaurant offer is quite comprehensive. If the egg offer seems little appetizing, the continental offer is much more.

I will choose a pastel de nata and a double espresso.

Bottom line

A quite correct European lounge, but very insufficient for an intercontinental lounge.
