After a fast passage through the Plaza Mayor lounge, we head for our boarding gate to Orly.

Boarding

We arrive at the gate 10 minutes after the start of boarding, which doesn’t turn out to be very fast. There are still 25 rows to go before Business.

The distinctive architecture of Barajas T4
Boarding is very, very slow

Here too, no priority boarding. So we wait quietly for rows 1 to 3 to be called.

We wait our turn patiently

Cabin and welcome

Nothing to say about the cabin, strictly identical on all Airbus medium-haul aircraft in the Iberia fleet. This aircraft too will be equipped with Wifi.

The welcome is also very warm, and we’re happy to meet up again. The purser will call us by our first names for the rest of the flight.

Back onboard

Service and catering

Meal trays and hot dishes are still not back on Iberia. Nevertheless, the quality of the box offered will be much better than on the outward journey, with an excellent chickpea salad, fougasse and chocolate mousse that won’t undermine Do&Co’s excellent reputation in catering.

After opening, the box is quite appetizing.
Excellent chocolate mousse to finish the meal

Arrival and disembarkation

The plane will arrive a few minutes ahead of schedule… This is ADP, so the jetway will take more than 5 minutes to arrive, the immigration officers will be as unpleasant as ever, and baggage will take more than 30 minutes to be delivered.

Slow baggage delivery

Bottom line

Another excellent crew for a good flight. But Iberia must now understand that restoring priority services is not an option.
