For the final leg of this itinerary back to Boston, I boarded one of United’s classic Boeing 737-900s.
Boarding and welcome
After a visit to the lounge by gate C74, which was packed, I headed to the departure gate.
It was completely empty when I arrived, as passengers were all properly seated while waiting for boarding to be called.
Boarding began on time, with the five priority boarding groups first (sic!), followed by First Class passengers, including myself.
Cabin and welcome
The welcome on board was pleasant, and I settled into the First cabin of this Boeing, configured with four rows of 2-2 recliner seats.
As I began working, a pre-departure drink was brought to me, and I opted for a glass of sparkling wine.
Service and catering
The service began once the seatbelt sign was turned off, and I continued with sparkling wine.
Arrival and disembarkation
We arrived at the gate on time.
Bottom line
An uneventful flight.
