British Airways Club Europe, London Heathrow – Lyon Saint-Exupéry, Airbus A320 : Solid

After a short lounge hopping session, I go to the boarding gate after noticing that it has already started.

Boarding

I arrive at the gate when the boarding has already started. The priority line is completely empty and I board directly for Lyon.

Cabin and welcome

I arrive at the door and the welcome is courteous without being ostensibly warm. I sit in seat 01A while the whole Business cabin has already boarded. Fortunately, there is still some room in the trunksbefore I arrive.

Disinfecting wipes will be distributed before departure.

Service and catering

The service starts a few minutes after take-off.

Two afternoon tea optionsare offered, one vegetarian and one “normal”?

I will choose the normal option, handed out on a tray, with champagne and sparkling water.

Everything will be excellent,especially the salmon.

Refills will be offered on a permanent basis.

Arrival and disembarkation

Despite our delayed departure of 20 minutes, we arrive at Lyon Saint-Exupéry on time.

Nevertheless, because of the storm still raging when we arrived, the jetway took more than an hour to be attached to the plane…

Bottom line

A rather good flight, but a calamitous management in the departure and arrival airports.
