Freshly disembarked from London and before going to the event justifying my travel, I proceed to the formalities of arrival.

Booking
I booked this hotel at the same time as my airline reservation. Indeed, even if my colleagues stay in downtown Lyon, my early departure invites me to stay near the airport. So here we go for a little more than 100€ a night for this short stay.
Arrival
I arrived at Lyon airport almost 1 hour and 15 minutes later than scheduled, but decided to drop my luggage at the hotel.
Prior to my arrival, I had noticed within the day an upgrade to a Moxy Bigger room, the hotel’s highest category, as well as the availability of my electronic key in the Marriott Bonvoy app.
SoI use this electronic key and go directly to my room. It couldn’t be more fluid.
Room
My room was located on the 5th and top floor of the property.
At the entrance you will find the bathroom, very well decorated and elegant, equipped with a washbasin and a large shower with high pressure. Moxy products, delivered in large bottles, are of good quality.
Then comes the mini-suite itself, with its desk area on the left side, its comfortable bed on the right side, but most of all, the superb view of the airport operations and runways.
Atelevision and an espresso machine complete the room’s equipment.
As you would expect from a very new hotel, the sockets are cleverly placed.

Hotel facilities
The hotel is equipped witha fitness room, which I will not have the opportunity to visit this time.
Catering
As with all Moxy’s,food and beverage is available near the reception area, as is the bar. Despite the receptionist’s offer, I will decline the post-event drink.
Departure
The departure formalities were easy since I used themobile check-out features. I will receive the invoice by e-mail a few hours later.
Bottom line
An excellent stay in a hotel perfectly located for my needs.
