LOT Business Lounge Mazurek Warsaw: Small but comprehensive

After this first pleasant flight from Budapest, and a fast check of my documents, I’m off to the Schengen boarding lounge. My first stop is the lounge I visited on the outward journey, which I’ve already reviewed here.

Still as well signposted as ever

So, after a few searches in this first lounge, I realize that another lounge of the Polish airline is available after immigration control. So I go to this immigration control.

For the first time in a very long time in the Schengen zone, I can access automated passport control, and am quickly on the other side in the non-Schengen zone.

As a reminder, here is the itinerary followed:

Today’s itinerary

Location

The lounge is located next to the duty-free area, which is in the basement of the boarding hall, and is accessible by escalator or staircase. Two lounges coexist: a lounge for non-Star Alliance airlines, and the LOT lounge for all Alliance passengers.

The elegant entrance to the LOT lounge

The welcome is cold but cordial, and after checking my boarding pass, I’m invited into the lounge.

Lounge design

The lounge is quite small, with around 50 seats available in different areas.

The decoration is very successful

There are dining areas, relaxation areas with comfortable armchairs, and work areas facing the tarmac.

Diverse but slightly cluttered spaces

The decor is fairly contemporary, not unlike that of the main lounge in the Schengen zone.

Catering

The food and beverage offer is identical to that of the lounge in the Schengen zone.

Like in this lounge, you can order hot dishes from the waiters and waitresses. I’ll just help myself to a coffee to wait for my flight to London to start boarding.

Bottom line

A fairly basic lounge, but with a decent catering offer. Its size is nevertheless small, and I can’t imagine spending hours waiting for my next flight in this lounge.
