While the boarding started after the theoretical time, I left the lounge 5 minutes after the theoretical time to go to my gate.
As a reminder, here is the itinerary followed:

Boarding
After a long walk through the corridors of London Heathrow terminal 3, I finally arrived at my gate of the day, gate 13. The boarding was already in progress, and all SkyPriority passengers and a good part of the non-priority passengers had already boarded.
I noticed a mini-lounge reserved for priority customers was located on the right side of the gate, I will explore it during my next visit.
The process at the gate was a bit chaotic and I waited for a long time in the jetbridge before being able to enter the plane.
The welcome at the gate was warm and I was pointed out to my seat.
Cabin and welcome
The cabin of the Airbus A330-900NEO of Virgin Atlantic was very nice. It is 1-2-1 staggered suites, a bit like the Delta One suites. A door allows you to isolate yourself during the flight.
I chose today a window suite in row 8, which has only one window is located further away from the aisle, for more privacy. I did not try the reclining position, but I think the seat was spacious enough.
The welcome was excellent, and the service was like that during the whole flight. A welcome drink tray was offered, and I chose an orange juice (champagne and a royal kir with rose were also offered).
A can of still water was already present in the seat storage.
On my seat was already present the basic amenity kit and the menu of the day.
The seat is really spacious, many storage spaces are available, and the screen is of excellent quality.
Boarding ended slowly and we left the gate a few minutes ahead of schedule.
Service and catering
The service started a few minutes after the seat belt sign went off.
A first passage of aperitif was made, and some chips in a cup were distributed.
As an appetizer, I ordered the celery salad with goat cheese, very fresh, which was served without a tray, directly on the tray table. Nice premium effort that continued throughout the flight. The mini baguette and butter, constantly renewed during this service, were excellent as well
For the main course, I chose the cod which was excellent, cooked to perfection and served with delicious Pont-Neuf fries. Everything was plated inflight. Refills were offered throughout the meal.
I chose a warm apricot cake for dessert, which will be excellent and served with a superb whipped cream. Sorbet was offered afterwards, and I spent the rest of the flight working, but the crew was constantly passing by to offer refills or snacks. Note, however, that for those who like it, there is a bar area just behind the Upper Class with a couch and drinks in a mini-bar.
Before landing, an afternoon tea was served, and I ordered the scones and clotted cream, which I loved. I particularly liked the silverware, very well designed on Virgin.
Arrival and disembarkation
We arrived half an hour ahead of schedule in Boston, and I was quickly landside, in less than 10 minutes.
Bottom line
An excellent flight on Virgin Atlantic, which contrasts with my catastrophic experience on the outbound flight.
